Using JobShort

How do I record my 30‑second intro?
Open the app, follow the JobShort insights, and tap record. You can re‑record anytime. Keep it natural — communicate your motivation, tone and energy,.
Can I hide my video and still use JobShort?
Yes, you control visibility. Toggle sharing off to keep it private while you edit your profile.
Will JobShort replace my CV?
Not at all, it enhances it. Your CV + video = stronger first impression, more chances. Be your own first interview with your JobShort intro!

Add your JobShort link to LinkedIn

Make your view.jobshort.com profile easy to find. Here are the common ways to add it on LinkedIn.

Before you start: Get your personal link from the app — open Home → tap Copy link (or Share QR) to copy your https://view.jobshort.com/<your-id>. You can also scan your QR and copy the URL.
Add a link at the top of your Profile (Profile Link)
  1. Open your LinkedIn profile and click Edit (the pencil icon).
  2. Find Profile link (sometimes under Customize your Intro or Recommended).
  3. Paste your URL, e.g. https://view.jobshort.com/your-id.
  4. Give it a short label like View my JobShort or 30s Intro.
  5. Save. The link now appears near the top of your profile.
Example link: https://view.jobshort.com/<your-uid-or-handle>
Add to your Featured section
Go to Featured → click + → choose Add a link. Paste your view.jobshort URL and add a title like My JobShort Video. You can drag it to the first position.
Add under Contact info → Website
Click Contact info on your profile → Website → add your view.jobshort URL. Choose a label (e.g. Personal) so viewers recognize it.
Tip: If your link doesn’t show the video preview, add a short line in your headline or About like “🎥 30-second intro: view.jobshort.com/your-id”.

How does matching work?
We combine skills + soft skills + team fit to create a shortlist that actually works — while keeping the process bias‑aware and explainable.
Can we integrate with our ATS?
Yes, we sit pre-ATS and are building APIs and integrations. Early partners can join the pilot — please reach out to info@jobshort.com.
Is this compliant with EU privacy law?
Yes — we design for GDPR from day one. Candidates control sharing, and companies see only what’s needed for hiring decisions.

Your data & video

Who can view my video?
Only the people you share it with. You can disable sharing anytime; the link becomes inaccessible.
Where is my data stored?
In secure cloud infrastructure in the EU. Videos are streamed via signed links that expire automatically.
Can I delete my data?
Yes — in the app you can delete your video and CV anytime. Contact us for a full account deletion.
